The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of remembrance, located in Alrewas, Staffordshire. Opened in 2001, it forms part of the Royal British Legion family of charities and spans over 150 acres of landscaped woodland and gardens.

The Arboretum is home to more than 400 memorials, each honouring individuals, communities, and organisations who have served or sacrificed in various ways, from the Armed Forces to emergency services and civilian groups.

Alongside its commemorative spaces, the Arboretum offers exhibitions, guided walks, and educational programmes designed to inspire reflection, learning, and understanding across all generations. Visitors can explore themed areas, seasonal trails, and interactive displays within the Remembrance Centre, making the experience both meaningful and accessible to families, schools, and groups.

Rooted in remembrance yet forward-looking in its outreach, the National Memorial Arboretum aims to ensure that stories of service, sacrifice, and hope are never forgotten.
